Julio Bordas an Agricultural Engineer, born in Cuba. After running many agricultural operations in Cuba he came exiled to the US, Miami, and began a successful career as executive of multinational agrichemical companies with responsibilities that made him to travel extensively to Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and Latin America. Having never received formal art training or studies his artist development is a result of artistic curiosity self studies and exposure to different cultures traveling around the world. His recent contemporary and abstract works reflect the influence and guidance of his involvement with Cuban master Baruj Salinas. Use the interaction of spaces, forms, color and textures in free flowing movements to create paintings that invite to be seen evoking in the viewer their own interpretation and feelings.(les mides de les obres són en polzades " )
